Ice Age Floods Institute has become a repository for the field notes that J Harlan Bretz made in his research and travels that led to his theories of a massive flood(s) having created unique landscapes in Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
Using this interactive map the public can zoom in and explore Bretz’s field notes for hundreds of locations throughout the area.
These maps are part of a Google Earth project created by Glenn Cruickshank and supported by Nick Zentner and the Ice Age Floods Institute through webmasters Lloyd DeKay and Chris Sheeran.
